"The Joy of the Lord is My Strength"

I love how our Heavenly Father is so purposeful.  How even our names have meaning and significance. 

My name is Rio Joy which means "River of Joy." 

The more I walk this Christian life, my mind is blown by how the Father chooses me to partake in this JOY that is endless, overflowing and so tangible.  I am realizing all the more that His Joy really is my strength and for it to be in my name, to be a part of me --- WOW!!

"Joy is the settled assurance that God is in control of all the details of my life, the quiet confidence that ultimately everything is going to be alright, and the determined choice to praise God in every situation."

Joy is a choice and we have the freedom to choose it everyday in this journey called life.
